Karijini National Park

Let someone else do the driving today from Tom Price into beautiful Karijini National Park, with Lestok Tours. We visited several lookouts, gorges, waterfalls and a foot soak with some little fish at fern pool.

After the free chair massage (road corrugations) we pulled up to where several gorges converge at Oxer and Junction pool lookouts. Could see all the way down the bottom where there was still some water. Amazing to think how much water comes through these areas in the wet. On to Weano Gorge and Handrail pool. Only Nathan did handrail pool (and was wet from the waist down for the rest of the day). Then on to Joffre Falls and Knox Gorge lookouts where some people were swimming. The water looked a little green though from algae. Later we stopped at the lookouts for Circular Pool and over Dales Gorge, before going down the stairs to Fortescue Falls and Fern pool. Could swim in the clearer water here.
