Port Augusta to Coober Pedy

Another long day in the car, but we made it to Coober Pedy - 'The Outback'. Saw our first Road Train, been seeing B-doubles for a while but today was a convoy of 5 road trains...... lucky for us they were going the other way!

Just out of Port Augusta - emus!

Saw quite a few interesting things today, emus (clumsy things), eagles (man size), few hills, salt lakes and a lot of not much but some road and scrub for about 300km of our 550km. Even pulled into our first roadhouse (Spuds at Pimba). We also went to Woomera, little spooky - nobody but tourists.

Not everyone makes it to Coober Pedy
Lake Hart - salt as far as the eye can see
Only 200 kms to go
Coober Pedy, well its pretty flat here, lots of signs saying don't wonder around because you will end up in a hole somewhere, dusty. Getting warmer during the days which is good.
